'Grrrrrrghhhhh!'
When Anansi's rumbly tummy wakes her up
She needs to come up with a plan
How to feed it NOW!
But she better watch out

The Anansi Creative Art Competition
Fly-Catching Creation
By Amelie aged 7
Ameilie reveals how she made her grand masterpiece
"First, I got an orange and some tissue paper and painted the black paper. When the black paint was drying, I stuck some eyes on it.
Then I got pipe cleaners and made 8 holes with scissors and put the legs in. Finally, I got 2 pom poms, wrapped some pipe cleaners into wings and that made them into flies. For the background, I crunched up cardboard and drew silver lines where the cracks were made for my spider web.” SUPERB!!!!

Hanging Masterpiece
By Gaia aged 5
Gaia spent much time and effort perfecting her masterpiece. Starting with just a simple piece of white fabric, Gaia designed, decorated and hand-sewed her hanging spider all by herself!
"We only had white fabric in the house," explained Gaia's Mum.
Gaia coloured the white fabric, then decorated it with such attention to detail. “She loved the challenge and dedicated so much time to think on what and how to do it... and had so much fun doing both creations!"
SPLENDID!!!
